October Blogger of the Month is Setaita
Setaita has really taken to blogging this month. Even though she doesn't take her netbook home, she still logs on and continues her learning. Setaita successfully completed our Holiday 10 Day Blog Challenge and has begun putting extra effort into making sure her blog posts look good as well read well.

September Blogger of the Month... Litia
Congratulations to the September Blogger of the Month: Litia.
Litia managed to blog all of her work in September and update it all on our class blog log.
Putting work on the blog log is a great way to monitor our learning, and make sure that we are up to date. It also helps others locate our work, which is great if they need ideas of how to finish a certain task.

August Bloggers of the Month
This month was far to hard to choose just one blogger of the month. So the title of blogger of the month is to be shared between two people, a boy and a girl, and both for different blogging reasons.
Firstly, Honey. Throughout the year Honey has consistently applied herself and worked hard to meet the blogging criteria: labels, title and a short description of her learning. This hard work has paid off and her blog is becoming a great portfolio of her learning journey.

Our second blogger of the Month is Salesi. Salesi has over the month of August really begun to take pride in his work, which is reflected in his blogposts. He has been completing work on time, updating the blog log with the link to his posts and making sure to include the WALT. Salesi was also the first person from Room 7 to create a post a Movenote. Movenote is a great app which records the screen and ourselves so we can talk about our learning for the audience to listen to.

June Blogger of the Month: Loto
Congratulations Loto on being June blogger of the month.
Loto has learned how to use labels to organise his blogging. By using a few labels on each blog post he can easily find old posts.
It also works like a filing system. Making sure that all writing posts are linked together, as are all the different topics we learn about.
This makes keeping track of his learning journey so much easier, which is especially important after we have been blogging for a long time!

Congratulations to May's Blogger of the Month Davarni!
Davarni puts screenshots of her work into her blog to make sure that they fit nicely, she replies to comments, and always puts a relevant label on her blogpost. She also describes what she found difficult in a task.

March Blogger of the month: Luisa
During the month of March, we were learning to make our blogs superb by using the blog rubric to check that we had all the necessary information.
This month Luisa has used the rubric to explain what she learned in each activity and what she found difficult.
Using the rubric has also helped her to make her blog posts more aesthetically appealing.

Blogger of the Month - February
February flew by before we new it, and over the month Room 7's Yr 5 learners began receiving their very own netbooks. Blogs were created mid-feb, so with only two weeks to get ourselves blog savvy we are off to a flying start.
This month's blogger of the month goes to Alex, Alex has learned the value of adding pictures to blogposts - even making helpful blog comments to others to suggest a picture.
Alex has remembered to put a title and use labels on each blog post too. These make it much easier for readers to find their way around his blog, especially once he has dozens of blogposts!
